The Rarely Seen Reverse Zerbert!
After 19 months of us blowing zerberts on the boys' necks, tummies, arms, and hands, they turn the tables on Mommy. Hilarity ensues.

All Truly Great Thoughts Are Conceived While Walking
ZOMG!
Its official, everyone who lives in our house can walk. Witness the magic.
They really get excited when they see each other walking. It inspires them. When one guy starts walking the other guy will get all amped up and start to walk also. Notice how Milo holds his hands on his chest while he walks. Seems to me like it would be easier to walk with your arms out to help with balance. But maybe this is his special walking trick. Like Levi's awesome Michael Jordan tongue technique.
You can see why, evolutionarily speaking, humans have padding on their backsides.
PS - Title credit goes to Nietzsche, who the boys LOVE.

Milo took his first steps today!
We didn't get it on video, but you have to believe us. it finally happened. Sure, they have been standing unsupported, cruising along walls, and finger walking for weeks. But this afternoon Milo took two steps from Daddy to Mommy. He was so happy with himself!
We will try to get him walking on camera soon! In the meanwhile, here is a very inaccurate reenactment of the event.

Manny Is hiLARious
Levi laughs his little bootay off at Manny. The guys just lovelovelove Manny, especially when he plays with, or rather, near them. Note how Manny can't get past Levi quickly enough.
PS - YOU try growing teef (six so far), laughing your little bootay off and NOT drooling. I'm just sayin'... don't hate the drool.

We Are One Year Old Today!

Wow - did we have fun today! I'm just posting this video before we go to bed and will post more details and photos tomorrow. But in the meanwhile, here is a video from one of the boys' TWO cupcake birthday celebrations.
No babies were harmed in the making of this film, though it looks like one might have been.

It's A Gas
Last week in Whidbey Island we visited the Star Store in Langley. Dave and Benny discovered that Levi loves loves L O V E S whoopie cushions. This shoots my theory that, contrary to what Dave believes, farts are not funny. Levi's belly laugh proves that all boys think that all gas is funny. Naturally, Uncle Benny and Auntie KJ could not let the guys leave the store without the toy.
Dave, No. This does not mean you can fart on their heads.

Levi "Says" His First "Word"
We've been taking baby ASL classes for a few weeks now. We have an in-home instructor who teaches the class at a friend's house. We've been concentrating on a few key posts: milk, more, food, change, bed, home, and a few others.
This morning, for the first time, Levi finished his bottle and made eye contact with me and very clearly asked for milk. I went and got the video camera and the milk. I made this little video and then he got his milk! Which he was hungry for. It is amazing that he has communicated with me what he wants using ASL!
Levi says 'milk' by opening and closing his right hand.

Burping Is Bananas
In a grand Stroll (and Lake and Wilson, for that matter) the guys think that burping is HILARIOUS. Watch as Milo and Levi crack up at Dad's belching.
