A Little Perspective: Bouncy Seat Edition
This was taken not long after the boys came home. they might have been one week old. They are sitting by the window in this photo so Milo could get a little sun to help his jaundice go away. Anyhow, the boys used to spend a lot of time in these... they had acid reflux and could not sleep in their crib since it was flat. The angle of the bouncy seat was one of the only things that helped them.
Elizabeth took this one of Milo when she was visiting during her on her birthday (May) 08.
And I took this yesterday... the boys' bouncy seats are leaving the house and I put Milo in it to say goodbye. He absolutely manhandled it - practically got up and scooted away with the seat on his back like a hermit crab. The blur is his hands waving.

So, This Is What The Big Deal Was All About?
It was a big day! We got the guys in their BeBe Pods, whipped out every camera in the neighborhood and made the rice cereal.

Well, the guys didn't exactly love their first taste of solid food. Milo had some fun smearing it all over this face.
Levi somehow managed to spit out two times more food than we put in his mouth. Miraculous!
Have a look at some great "Why are you feeding me this stuff?" faces here http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/baby-food-face.htm
We'll try again today... maybe we'll add some fruit to it. What has worked for you all?

Gramma Carol and Grampa Lenny visit
They had just woken up from their naps as we took these photos so they are a teensy weensy bit drowsy and out of it. See?

Sacks Appeal
The boys love to sleep swaddled in their Miracle Blankets. But since they are such big healthy boys they are busting out of them lately Hulk-style. Once they've busted out they get cold and it isn't safe to have them scooting all around their cribs with loose swaddle blankets trailing behind them (I'm looking at you, Levi). So tonight we put Milo down to sleep in his SleepSack. It is a wearable blanket that keeps them nice and safe during the night. He looks so adorable that we had to share.
Tomorrow we'll try to have Levi sleep in his sleepsack as well, since we keep finding him in his crib on his tummy unswaddled with his face jammed up against the walls of the crib like a tiny, handsome, drunk prisoner (usually there is a tiny pool of drool as well).

Yawn Yawn
After a few hours of the photo shoot with Bllen Drake the guys got soooooper tired (YOU try being this cute all the time!). Bellen was fast on the shutter and snapped this gem.2/29/2008

Their First (non-family) Visit!

The beautiful and talented Alecia Craft, who threw us our beautiful baby shower with the beautiful and talented BFF Caitlin Angeloff was the first non-family visitor the boys got. We commemorated the occasion with this photo.

Our wonderful Nanny, Naomi, left us this week to go become a mother herself. Today was her last day and we wanted to commemorate it with a little photo session.
