This age is so ultra amazing. The guys are changing so quickly, I just want to take videos of everything the guys do and say. Which is what I am kinda doing. So here goes…
We were just going for a walk and they were such heart breakers I had to share.
I was lucky enough to have my iphone nearby when the guys played their very first game of catch. So great to see them playing together like this – I bet they’ll play a lot of catch together over the years.
Finally, the boys effing love it when Dave plays his old Diesel Boy tunes. Here they are moshing, completely spontaneously, to T*itty Twister.
ZOMG! Its official, everyone who lives in our house can walk. Witness the magic.
They really get excited when they see each other walking. It inspires them. When one guy starts walking the other guy will get all amped up and start to walk also. Notice how Milo holds his hands on his chest while he walks. Seems to me like it would be easier to walk with your arms out to help with balance. But maybe this is his special walking trick. Like Levi’s awesome Michael Jordan tongue technique.
You can see why, evolutionarily speaking, humans have padding on their backsides.
PS – Title credit goes to Nietzsche, who the boys LOVE.
We didn’t get it on video, but you have to believe us. it finally happened. Sure, they have been standing unsupported, cruising along walls, and finger walking for weeks. But this afternoon Milo took two steps from Daddy to Mommy. He was so happy with himself!
We will try to get him walking on camera soon! In the meanwhile, here is a very inaccurate reenactment of the event.
