First day at Writing Center .. right downstairs. See the table, Char!

Alison and Jen spent days preparing and collecting beginning writing paper and fat pencils and of course stickers for each page. They were so excited about making straight lines - long and short – and squiggles and curves all the stickers were used up!

First day at writing center, we all agreed, was a big success!

And then, lunch before leaving for playschool. A 10 minute walk from home. (2 mornings and one afternoon a week.)

Then after waiting for Jen to come out of the bathroom, the boys fell into bed and slept really long times.

And the boys and I had LONG discussions about what could have caused them. Here is their abbreviated list.

We went to Chicago for Christmas and Chanukah to celebrate with Gramps and Grannie Annie. We have 1000 photos from that trip, and I will get to posting those. But in the meantime, here we are at the Shedd Aquarium, which is, officially, the greatest Aquarium evar.

We went to Santa again this year. And it was particularly funny, since the line for Santa was abut an hour long. And directly across the way at Redmond Town Center was a giant Menorah and was nearly empty. But there we were, in the Santa line, singing the Chanukah songs. The boys will be maybe just a little confused at holiday time about which line to stand in….  But Santa gave them little rubber duckies with sweaters on. So, Santa wins again this year. So, we cut the yak yak and make with the photos, shall we?

It has been snowing here… so, naturally… SLEDDING!!
